New National Health Care Surveys Registry Portal Now Open

9/10/2018

Did you know that clinicians or practices that report to a public health or clinical data registry earn 10 points in the Promoting Interoperability category? If they report to a second registry, they can earn an additional five bonus points.
The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) opened a new National Health Care Surveys Registry Portal on September 10, 2018 that is free of charge. Eligible clinicians can register intent to submit data as part of their participation in MIPS. The National Health Care Surveys, unlike other Public Health reporting mechanisms, are sample based. This means only a relatively small number of clinicians will be invited to submit data; however, all clinicians are considered to be in active engagement with NCHS, even if they do not submit data. Register here.
