Data Submission Deadline Rapidly Approaching


All MIPS eligible clinicians, including groups who submit data using the CMS web interface, must submit 2019 MIPS data by 8:00 p.m. on March 31, 2020. Failure to submit data will result in a negative 9% payment adjustment on all Medicare Part B payments for covered professional services from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022. 
Clinicians who are not sure if they are eligible to participate in the Quality Payment Program can check their final eligibility status using the QPP Participation Status Lookup Tool. Only clinicians who are MIPS eligible as an INDIVIDUAL are REQUIRED to participate. Opt-in eligible clinicians and groups must make an election before they can submit data.

Follow the steps below to submit data:
  • Go to the Quality Payment Program website.
  • Sign in using your QPP access credentials (*see below for directions).
  • Submit your MIPS data for the 2019 performance period or review the data reported on your behalf by a third party.

*To sign in and submit data, clinicians must register in the HCQIS Authorization Roles and Profile (HARP) system. Review the QPP Access User Guide for enrollment instructions.
