Simply enter a clinician's NPI number on the
QPP participation-lookup page, then click on the "Check All Years" button. Scroll down and look for the PY 2019 tab. A list of the practice(s) that the clinician is associated with will appear. Then click on the "EXPAND" button to the right of each practice name to see the MIPS Participation Eligibility details, clinician and practice level information that determined the eligibility, and other factors that impact MIPS reporting.
Contact Quality Insights if you have any questions or would like assistance understanding the eligibility requirements. Also, remember there are two opportunities in 2019 for clinicians who are NOT MIPS eligible to report MIPS data. A clinician can "opt-in" to participate in MIPS if he meets one or two of the eligibility criteria or he can "voluntarily" report MIPS data. The difference is that clinicians who "opt-in" will be subject to payment adjustments and voluntary reporters will not be subject to payment adjustments.
