2018 MIPS Reporting: What You Should Be Doing Now

Hopefully you submitted 2017 MIPS data and have viewed your Preliminary Feedback Report. If not, you should go to the Quality Payment Program (QPP) website and log in to the QPP portal using your valid Enterprise Identity Data Management (EIDM) account to check your 2017 preliminary Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) score.
Next month the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will post final MIPS scores which will reflect special status, bonus points, and points when additional benchmarks were added. You will also learn the amount of your CY 2019 payment adjustment, based on your 2017 MIPS score. This information will be made public in the fall when 2017 MIPS data is posted on the Physician Compare website.
If you determine that your MIPS data is incorrect, you will have an opportunity to ask CMS to re-review the data. Details will be shared when CMS releases information about this new process.
NOTE: If you are part of an ACO and can't see any score except what your practice reported for Advancing Care Information,  it is because that is all you have access to right now.  In the future, you should be able to see the ACO score.
